MJ Hedges Geomeasure Pty Ltd is a part of the Fyfe group and consult in survey, GIS & town planning services. Fyfe Engineers & Surveyors is a land and resource development consultancy specialising in providing town planning, surveying & engineering services to South Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory. Since commencing in 1982 as a survey practice, the company has grown to include survey & geographic information and urban planning & engineering design services for the land development, construction and energy sectors.

In 2001, Fyfe Pty Ltd acquired Gilbert & Associates, an Adelaide Civil Engineering consultancy and in 2008 Fyfe commenced operating the Northern Territory surveying practice of Fyfe JMA.

M.J. Hedges Geomeasure staff have been assessed as competent & experienced consultants to become RiskSMART accredited with the Brisbane City Council. RiskSMART is a simple and fast development application process to get low risk development proposals expedited through the Brisbane City Council. Our clients will benefit from lower development costs, reduced waiting times and a more efficient approach to development approvals. In just 5 working days, the following application types can be approved:

  • industrial in an industry area
  • multi-unit dwellings (six or less)
  • new houses & extension in a Demolition Control Precinct
  • single unit dwellings (six or less)
  • small extensions to a shopping centre
  • subdivisions (six lots or less)
