Fyfe Restructure Update

October 24, 2014

As a result of some restructuring within Fyfe the Infrastructure and Property Services Business Units have been merged. John Stimson has become the Infrastructure and Property Business Unit Director. He is now managing the civil/structural, environment, survey and planning/property divisions. Phil Verco has become the Technical Director Infrastructure and Major Projects and he will be undertaking project director, engineering review and verification, mentoring and business development roles. The Civil and Structural Divisions have been merged and will be led by Guy Tuck. Trevor John has become the Technical Director Structures.

A key part of Fyfe’s Strategic Plan is to provide property services across our capital city offices. In addition to our town planning services in Adelaide and Brisbane we are delighted to announce that town planning services will be provided from our Sturt St Southbank office in Melbourne from the beginning of November. One of Victoria’s best and most respected town planners – Meredith Withers – has joined Fyfe. Meredith has more than 20 years of experience in consulting where much of her work has been on negotiating approvals for major projects for both private sector and government clients.

Michael Osborn who has been operating from our Brisbane office since the beginning of 2013 will become the Division Manager – Planning with responsibility for town planning and property across all our offices. Michael will be based in Adelaide from January 2015.

After six years of providing high quality planning and governance advice Stuart Moseley is leaving Fyfe to take up the position of General Manager Information and Strategy in the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure. We wish Stuart well in his new endeavour.

The facilitation of major land development projects for our private sector clients will continue to be undertaken by Stephen Holmes and John Stimson. Helen Dyer will continue to provide excellent governance, public policy and process review advice to the State and Local Government sectors.
