  • Provide healthy, safe and secure workplaces
  • Reduce safety risks to as low as reasonably practicable.

Safety requirements, incorporated in the company Management System, comply with:

  • AS/NZ 4801
  • Work Health and Safety Act 2011
  • Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act 2004 (Qld)
  • Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Act 2000 (SA)
  • Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Regulations 2000 (SA).

Santos - Safety Award

As part of our operations in the Cooper Basin (since 1995) Fyfe employees have driven long distances off road, often before any construction onsite has commenced. Being alone and the first to visit these remote areas has a requirement to exhibit care and competency for safety and the environment. Testamount to Fyfe’s measure of care and competency for safety, Fyfe have not recorded an LTI since our operations in the Cooper Basin.

The effectiveness of our environmental procedures has also been subjected to successful environmental audit for our work on the location of well leases and the route selection of pipelines.
